2024-2025 Pro Bono Review

With the ACLU of Florida, O’Melveny served as lead plaintiffs’ counsel in a significant challenge to Florida’s legislative maps under the 14th Amendment and the Voting Rights Act. During a week long bench trial, the O’Melveny team used expert testimony and legislators’ statements to show racial motivation in the redrawing of several South Florida districts. A decision is pending. VOTING
